Why do we sterilise our tools?

Salon cleanliness is critical for both clients and technicians. We use a combination of single-use tools, disinfected reusable files and sterilised tools.

This prevents the spread of infections by eliminating bacteria, fungi and viruses that can compromise your nail and skin health. 

All our metal tools undergo three stages of cleaning.

They are first soaked in hospital-grade disinfectant, and then scrubbed thoroughly under running water before being sterilised in individual pouches. The tools are then only opened and used on one client. Hygiene is very important to the team at Painted and it’s important to look out for nail salons that also value this.
